COVID-Safe Plan

Under current Pandemic Orders and due to the nature of our business (given our youngest clients being unable to be vaccinated) it is mandatory that all clients above 18 years of age entering the premises need to show valid proof of full vaccination or an exemption.

General

If the Photographer comes into contact with a person with coronavirus COVID-19, WorkSafe Victoria will be notified immediately on 132360 and all contact details will be provided.

Exposure to a person with Coronavirus (COVID-19) will result in the closure of this business until it is declared safe to reopen by the relevant authorities.

Pre-Arrival

The importance of not attending/rescheduling if unwell will be reinforced on the company website and in pre-session conversations with the client and is applicable to both the client, all those participating in the session and the Photographer.

If the client or other participants in the session have arrived from overseas in the 14-days prior to the session,  OR,  is diagnosed with coronavirus (COVID-19) and is currently in isolation OR,  has been directed to a period of 14-day quarantine by the Department of Health and Social Services as a result of being a close contact of someone with coronavirus (COVID-19), OR is displaying symptoms (even of a mild nature) such as fever; chills; cough; sore throat; shortness of breath; runny nose; loss of sense of smell; the client shall promptly notify the Photographer in advance of the session. The session will be postponed and will not be rescheduled until the individual/s have received a negative test and are released from isolation or have completed the 14-day quarantine period.

Contrary to normal practice and to the information published on the website, during the current COVID-19 situation, pre-session consultations will only take place over the phone and will not be conducted in the studio.

Arrival

Shoes will be removed at the front door.

Service Victoria QR code check-in is mandatory before entering the studio. 

All those entering the premises will be asked to complete and sign the Client Health Questionnaire in order that Photographer can determine if the session can be safely conducted.  Should any participant refuse to complete and sign the declaration, or if they declare symptoms or situations which pose an unacceptable risk, the session will be postponed.

A touchless forehead thermometer will be used to validate the body temperature of all those entering the premises and of the Photographer at the commencement of the session.  If the temperature of any individual participating in the session is above 37.5 degrees centigrade, the session will be postponed.

A Visitor and Patron Contacts Log will be completed for all persons entering the premises, in accordance with Victorian Government guidelines.

Sessions

A minimum of 24-hours will be scheduled between client sessions

Only members of the same household (a maximum five immediate family, including a maximum of two adults) can be photographed together.

No pets will be allowed to be brought to the session.

Should a client feel unwell or start to display symptoms of concern, the session will be terminated immediately, and appropriate records kept.

For collection of final products, preferably a single individual only should attend the premises to collect the completed orders. 

The Photographer will use gloves for the handling of products during the review and collection of completed orders.

Physical distancing

Adult clients and the Photographer must always remain a minimum of 1.5m from each other.

All payments and invoices will be conducted online where possible.

Face covering

A mask will be worn by the Photographer at all times throughout the photography session.

Unless a lawful exemption applies, all people over the age of 12 must wear a face covering and only remove that face covering for the duration of the photograph. The Photographers cloth mask will be washed after each session or if a disposable mask is worn this will be discarded after each session.

Good Hygiene Practices

Vigilant hand-washing and cough hygiene will be maintained at all times by all those present at the session.

Government recommended signage will be placed in the studios and in the dedicated client bathroom and changing facilities to encourage good hygiene practices, including physical distancing, regular hand-washing and appropriate cough and sneeze practices.

Sterilizing wipes and hand sanitiser will made available for use.

Bins are available for the disposal of litter.

Latex gloves will be made available for the handling of products by clients during viewing consultation sessions.

Facilities and Services

A dedicated toilet and wash hand basin will be provided for the use of clients/participants.

A dedicated changing room will be provided for the use of clients.

Signage will be posted to identify the dedicated facilities for use by clients/participants and also to identify areas which are restricted from being accessed.   

Contrary to normal practice and to the information currently published on the website, regrettably during these unprecedented times, coffee will not be served.  Drinking water will be made available for participants to help themselves to.

Cleaning

The studio will be ventilated with open windows and fan for 60 minutes before and after each session.

Sanitizing of surfaces in all facilities used will be conducted after each session.

Pens used for completion of Client Health Questionnaires, Session Contracts, or the Visitor/Patron Contacts log will be sanitised prior to use and at the end of each session.   

Camera equipment will be thoroughly cleaned between each session.

Props, including fabrics will be sanitised/washed prior to use.

Litter bins will be emptied and sanitised after each session. 

Thoroughly cleaning of the dedicated toilet and hand basin will be conducted on completion of each session and hand towels changed.

The changing room will be ventilated and cleaned after use.

Plastic chairs and tables will be sanitized between viewing consultations.

The water dispenser and glasses will be thoroughly washed after each session.
