Fruit Smash Photography Session

Fruit smash photography sessions are such a lovely way of capturing bright colourful images of your baby or child at any time of the year. A Fruit smash photography session can also be a health way to celebrate a birthday photography session instead of a cake smash or for babies that have unfortunately missed their cake smashes due to COVID-19 lockdowns.

A Fruit smash session followed by a bath splash session or a milk bath is a great way to capture those beautiful expressions. The excitement, giggles, bright eyes, beaming smiles and even concentration expressions are hard to beat!

These sessions are for babies that can sit confidently without support. They are so much fun for your baby that sometimes, they don’t want the session to end! Some of the best images are captured while your baby is splashing in our little prop baths. Babies are very much at ease in the warm soothing water, as a result they are happy and content resulting in beautiful images!

Please bear in mind when booking your baby photography session that your baby should be happy and well! In my experience, a sick or tired baby never leads to a successful photographic outcome. When booking your watermelon smash photography session, it is always advisable to book at a time that is not too close to your baby’s nap time. Please call ahead as soon as possible if your baby is unwell.

How the session works…..

When you arrive at the studio we will have a little chat and I will spend a short time playing with your baby so they can familiarise themselves with the surroundings and with me as their photographer. Then we can get started and let the fun begin!

We are able to offer an advanced sneak peek of one of your images for you on our Facebook and Instagram pages.

Watermelon Smash sessions are most definitely one of my favourite photo shoots as baby is interactive and excited. This allows us to capture superb expressions contributing to great final images!

We took our daughter Grace for photos at 8 months. I found Leigh through google search and I liked the look of her pictures on her website. It was such a wonderful experience, she was professional and offered us advice on how to get the best shots. We also had a family portrait as well which turned out beautifully. Our daughter had the best time and she offered a few different looks, family portrait, milk bath, individual portraits with different looks and the pictures that she returned were amazing. I liked that she had a pre photography sessions with you to run through how things will work on the day. On the day of the shoot, she works around your schedule so as to not wake the baby early to get to her to the studio for a specific time, this I really appreciated. And the viewing of the pictures was just lovely...be warned though, with so many great shots its so difficult to make a decision on which ones to choose.
